While planting grass in your lawn the first step you need to take is to decide on what kind of grass you would like to plant. Then you get the appropriate seeds for planting the grass. There is some preliminary work that has to be done in preparation for planting the seeds for your lawn. It is a step by step process and has to be done gradually and carefully for the best growth of grass on your lawn. These are some rules on grass planting basics.
Step number 1: Outline the lawn area and then till the entire soil in the lawn area. A smooth surface which is the final level has to be obtained for planting the seeds on your lawn. There should be no hills and depressions if you would like to have an even well spread lawn at the end of it all.
